The Club Penguin Times: Issue #294

Issue #294 of the Club Penguin Times have been released. Here are some highlights and key points in this week's issue:

New Music Clothing Out Now!:
Music Jam looks are here! The Gift Shop is bursting with colorful instruments and stylish stage outfits. One singer weighed in on the new styles... "I love this neon hoodie!" said the singer. "And I can't wait to show off the zebra scarf". "These styles are going to make my performances pop!" "I'm stocking up on instruments too," she said. "The green keytar is my favorite." Be sure to check out the new instruments and outfits-in the Gift Shop now!

Musicians Wanted!:
Rock the latest Music Jam style in the Gift Shop. Crank up the volume with band practice in your igloo! Gear up with instruments in the Lighthouse. Chill out with some campfire songs at the Cove.

New Red Electric Guitar Pin!

There's a new pin around! It's the new Red Electric Guitar Pin! It's available at the Hidden Lake next to the door to the Underwater room.

June 2011 Penguin Style

There's a brand new Penguin Style catalog! With Music Jam coming this month, there are many musical items in the new catalog! Here are all the hidden items:

1. Red Viking Helmet: on page three, click on the yellow puffle on the Custom T-Shirt page.
2. Blue Viking Helmet: repeat the above four times.
3. Black Electric Guitar: on page six, click on the small circle on the top of the speaker.
4. The Shore Thing: on pages seven and eight, click on the center of the book where the tiles meet.
5. Blue Double Necked Guitar: on page nine, click on the where the eyes would be of the Pink Tiki Mask.
6. Purple Electric Bass: on page nine, click on the upper part of the surfboard.
7. Blue Dragon Feet: on page 13, click on the symbol on the bookshelf.
8. White Cocoa Bunny Costume: on page 19, click on the strange rock in the middle of the book.
9. White Cocoa Bunny Ears: on page 20, click on the wheel of the tank.
10. The Country Gal: on page 22, click on the moon.
11. Cocoa Bunny Costume: on page 23, click on the bottle in the sea.

New flags have been added too! They are the Dominican Republic, the Ecuador, and the Uruguay flags!

Shadow Ninja Clothing!

There have been new ninja clothing found in Club Penguin's SWF files. It has something to do with the center piece of the amulet. When all the pieces of the Shadow Ninja clothing is worn, you will do a special dance and wave. When waving, you'll disappear into the ground like a shadow. When dancing, you'll vanish in a large dark cloud of smoke.

Missing Purple Wizard Hat!

UPDATE: The glitch has now been fixed!

If players have not noticed, their recently obtained Purple Wizard Hat has disappeared from the inventory. Club Penguin still have more glitches and bugs to squash. Comment below if you ever think these annoying bugs will stop!

June 2011 Pay Day!

It's June 1st, 2011! This means we have our paychecks in the mail. EPF Agents get 350 coins and Tour Guides get 250 coins. Let's spend our money tomorrow on new clothes at the Gift Shop!

I am sorry I was not able to write any posts in the last months. I have been very busy at school and have been very tired. I am starting to blog again! Please keep viewing my blog as it will be updated with news!

Puffle Launch!

Puffle Launch has officially been launched today! You'll be able to play as long as you have a puffle. First, select a puffle you want to play with!

Next, you choose a stage. Non-members can only play Blue Sky while members can play all three stages. Then you play the first level. You collect Puffle-O's when you shoot through cannons. Some are difficult to get while some are easy to get. There is a boss in each stage at the last level. Have fun launching your puffles!

Field Op #36

There's a new field-op for EPF agents to tackle!

Head over to the stadium where the small shack that says "Sports" is. You'll tackle a new mini-game called "Crack the Lock." In the end, you'll receive a medal to use in the Elite Gear and a message from Herbert.

Last week, Club Penguin asked us what we thought about the new renovated Pet Shop. Here's is what Todo265 has to say: "I love the new pet shop because it shows more puffle spirit! Everything in there is puffle oriented from the clock to the beds and houses and play pens. Its also a lot more colorful which i love fun and funky and more interesting too! Waddle on cp! (PS the pizza parlor should be renovated next!)" This week, Club Penguin wants to know what games we play with our puffles.

Jelly Bean Counters!

Just like how there is a secret candy mode in Pizzatron 3000, there's a new secret candy mode for Bean Counters! You have to click the little thread on the first bag on the title page and then click the jelly beans. You'll choose a mode and play. You need to match the colors of the jelly beans with the colors on the screen. I'll leave all of you to play the rest of the game.

Puffle History!

Screenhog has posted about puffle history on Club Penguin's What's New Blog. Here's what he has to say:

"You see, it used to be that penguins thought that they were the only creatures that lived on the island... until something strange began to happen. Furry creatures began popping up all over the place:

It turned out that Club Penguin was full of these furry creatures, and there were four colors; blue, pink, green, and black. After determining that the creatures were safe, the penguins of the island named them "puffles". Penguins loved the puffles, and wanted to take care of them, so a Pet Shop was built.

Most of the puffles really enjoyed the opportunity to be adopted by penguins, but the green puffle in the Night Club loved his spot so much that he stayed there. So, next time you're in the Night Club, say hi to one of the oldest puffles in Club Penguin."

Now, you all know where puffles came from. Let's see what happens to puffles in the future.

Bean Counters has gotten its graphics updated. The whole game has gotten updated, not just the title screen. Check it out and earn more coins for your account.

The March issue of the Better Igloos has been released! There are new secrets in the catalog. The catalog came just in time for the St. Patrick's Day Igloo Contest. Make sure to check it out.

The Club Penguin Times: Issue #282

Issue #282 of the Club Penguin Times is out! Here's a summary on the paper:

Puffle Launch Starts March 15:
The new game, Puffle Launch, will launch on March 15. Bring your puffle to fire them out of a cannon following a trail of Puffle-O's leading them to new levels, challenges, and secrets. New stamps will be released for the game so start collecting them as well!

St. Patrick's Igloo Contest is On:
From March 11-March 14, 2011, creative penguins will be making their igloo green. The new catalog should help creativity. Grand Prize winners get 50,000 coins and their igloos will be put in the newspaper. Runner-Up winners get 25,000 coins and their names will be put in the newspaper.
